HonestReporting and The Philos Project invite you to attend a screening of the award-winning documentary film Eyeless in Gaza, followed by a panel discussion on journalistic ethics and the international conversation on the Arab-Israeli conflict.

Eyeless in Gaza was an official selection of the Jewish International Film Festival and the Hong Kong International Film Festival. This award-winning documentary follows journalists who covered the 2014 Gaza conflict, exposing the biased narrative told by international media through authentic footage, and interviews of journalists who reported the conflict.

Following the screening, Bassem Eid, founder of the Palestinian Human Rights Monitoring Group, will speak on media bias and censorship, and the perception of the Arab-Israeli conflict in the international community. Further panelists TBA.

Bassem Eid is the founder and former director of the Jerusalem-based Palestinian Human Rights Monitoring Group (PHRMG). He is an advocate for peace with Israel, and a critic of terrorism.
