This month marked 50 years of Israel’s occupation of the West Bank and East Jerusalem. Dr. Hirschhorn will present her book’s main findings, exploring the contrasting motivations and gripping history of American Jews in the advancement of Israel’s settlement enterprise in the West Bank. Lara Friedman will offer commentary and Michele Dunne will moderate the discussion.

Dr. Sara Yael Hirschhorn is a Research Lecturer at the University of Oxford and the author of “City on a Hilltop: American Jews and the Israeli Settler Movement”.
