In particular, the lab will delve into how apartheid manifests itself on different fragments of the Palestinian population, and discuss the overall effectiveness of utilizing the apartheid framework to analyze the Palestinian struggle.

Yara Hawari is the Palestine Policy Fellow of Al-Shabaka: The Palestinian Policy Network. Her latest publications include, Israel’s Relentless Land Grabs: How Palestinians Resist and Apartheid from Within? The Palestinian Citizens of Israel.

Diana Buttu is a lawyer, commentator, and policy advisor for Al-Shabaka. She previously served as a legal advisor to the Palestinian negotiating team and was part of the team that assisted in the successful litigation of the Wall before the International Court of Justice.
