Jacob Magid is the The Times of Israel’s settlements correspondent, tracking Israeli construction approvals in the West Bank and broader settler initiatives in addition to Israeli and Palestinian violence beyond the Green Line. Hailing from Chicago, he received B.A. degrees in Arabic and Political science from the University of Maryland where he completed an honors thesis on Israeli centrist parties.
Ron Kampeas covers politics and diplomacy for the Jewish Telegraphic Agency. He worked previously at The Associated Press, where he spent more than a decade in its bureaus in Jerusalem, New York, London and, most recently, Washington. He has reported from Northern Ireland, Afghanistan, Bosnia and West Africa. While living in Israel, he also worked for the Jerusalem Post.
