13 stabbed in terror attack on Tel Aviv bus; 4 badly hurt,

A young Palestinian man armed with a knife stabbed 13 people during rush hour on Wednesday morning in an attack on a bus in central Tel Aviv before he was arrested by Israeli police. Four of the victims were badly hurt. Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu blamed Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas for inciting the incident, but the attacker told the Shin Bet, Israel’s internal security agency, that he was “motivated by Israel’s summer war in Gaza, the recent fighting over the Temple Mount and Islamist broadcasts praising the martyr’s ‘road to paradise,'” according to Israeli newspaper Ha’aretz.
