Evangelicals, Israel/Palestine, and American Domestic Politics
Thursday, August 27th
12:00PM – 1:00 EDT
featuring
Sarah Posner (Type Investigation)
in conversation with
Lara Friedman (FMEP)
Last week, President Trump proclaimed: “We moved the capital of Israel to Jerusalem. That’s for the evangelicals.” This week, addressing the Republican National Convention from Jerusalem, Secretary of State Michael Pompeo turned Jerusalem into a prop for President Trump’s reelection campaign. To explore the relationship between the Trump Administration’s Israel-Palestine policies and American evangelical Christians, as well as the implications of this relationship for the upcoming U.S. elections, the Foundation for Middle East Peace (FMEP) is pleased to invite you to join us for a conversation (via Zoom) with leading expert Sarah Posner.
